The Light Cavalry Stables
The Light Cavalry horses are stabled at Flemish Farm where Caroline Quested BHSAI is the Manager. She's been running military yards, in the UK and overseas, since 1994.
Other Instructors include Paul Allison BHSAI (late Household Cavalry), Emily Chomicz BHSAI, Marie Whelan BHSAI, Lesley Wilson BHSAI, Jan Glen BHSAI and finally Gary Holt our Dressage Instructor.
Civilian and military equitation are taught in the indoor school and a variety of local organisations make use of our instructors and facilities, including: Eton College and Bearwood College CCFs, Harrow School and the Defence Medical Services Training Group.
Who can ride at Flemish Farm?
Our facilities are open to the following civilian and military personnel:
• Light Cavalry Supporting Riders.*
• HAC serving personnel.
• HAC Saddle Club members.
• Serving military personnel.
